It Must Have Been You Book Review

It Must Have Been You by Zanib Mian and Illustrated by Fatima Mian

Book Description:

“A quirky, rhyming story of a cute little girl who unintentionally makes a mess everywhere she goes through her innocent child-like actions; and is caught in the act by pointing fingers of different family members every time! Until she does just the right thing to make it all better and transforms the pointing fingers to hugs and kisses.”

Book Review:

As someone who took creative writing in University, I have to say that I adore the way this book was written with the illustrations- the pages were eye catching and visually appealing! All three of my children, ages 2, 4, and 7, had a great time listening to me read this book to them, their eyes lit up with excitement as each page turned!

This is a great book for all children that teaches children it is okay to make mistakes, just as long as you say sorry in one way or another. If I could describe this book in three words it would be fun, cute, and sweet! Each page was cheeky and showed the adventures of typical girl on an average day.

Special Features:

There is a biography of the author and illustrator at the end of the book, with their bio pictures being their childhood pictures- how awesome is that?!
